Key Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy
Represent the Fixed Income investment identity in Asia ex Japan and articulate a consistent message around the characteristics and the investment capability under coverage.
Partner with sales to drive the promotion of Fixed Income Strategies and Solutions as a core function, as well as serve as a local specialist relay for selective Global Fixed Income products promotion in Asia, covering all client segments.
Work closely with Product and Market Intelligence and Specialist Sales teams to work on new processes and investment solutions to complete the range, in line with regulatory change or new market opportunities.
 
Position Our Existing Offering
Drive the client pitch—including the analysis of client requirements, guide strategy choice, guide and where necessary provide RFP content, and deliver pitch presentations
Provide guidance to, train, and motivate Sales and Support employees and position Fixed Income capabilities internally to be part of the sales plan
Create investment communications content to support the marketing and distribution of the company’s products—including fund focuses and opinion pieces, presentation material, and regular portfolio commentaries.

Represent PM and Service Existing Book
Represent Portfolio Management and products/solutions under coverage at Asian client meetings from performance sales pitch to conducting performance reviews
Helps to facilitate reporting and answer ad hoc client requests for the GFI client base
Provide clients and prospects with ongoing updates about market views, investment strategy, positioning, and performance
Act as the subject matter expert, responding to information requests about our Fixed Income range of products and solutions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Amundi Investment Solutions is Europe’s largest asset manager. It focuses on delivering tailored investment solutions to institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds. The division offers a broad range of strategies across asset classes such as fixed income, equities, multi-asset, and alternative investments. Leveraging Amundi’s global expertise, research capabilities, and risk management, Amundi Investment Solutions aims to meet clients’ specific financial goals and risk profiles through customized portfolio construction and innovative investment approaches.

The team is seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer to be based in Hong Kong and to lead all finance functions in Asia markets including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand (functional management for South Asia finance team). This position will be directly reporting to Amundi Asia CEO and functionally reporting to Amundi Group CFO. He/she will be responsible for a team of 15+ FTEs.

This role is critical to enabling our growth ambitions, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standard of control and enhancing collaborations across different markets. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep hands-on experience in asset management, exceptional Asia market and local knowledge in financial practices and accounting standards, and the ability to guide the teams to navigate challenges and opportunities of this dynamic market.

Principle Accountabilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and growth plans.
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Lead financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making and performance improvement.
Collaborate with other executives to drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
Oversee capital structure, funding, and investment activities to optimize financial performance.
Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the board, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial controls to maintain organizational stability.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
